Naomi Alexander

Book design

Naomi Alexander, an award-winning painter, commissioned us to design and produce a book which would showcase works from throughout her career. Including a series of paintings of the attics of Chatsworth House, and works made in Lithuania, the book encapsulates her love of observing domestic scenes, personal interiors and homes. We worked alongside a curator and art historian to storyboard the autobiographical content with reflections on her life; where it took her and whose home it allowed her access to. In the production of the book we helped recover and restore ageing photos and negatives of her work from earlier in her career, making this a very personal record of an artist.
