Young volunteering initiative

We were charged with creating Evolve, an online volunteering journey that helps young Jewish people to participate in social action. Accommodating primary and secondary school age groups, and on to university, this platform allows users to search for volunteering posts and record their roles and actions to create a volunteering CV. The interface allows schools and youth groups to run memberships, or for individuals to use it themselves. Equally, organisations can advertise roles they need volunteers for, and so the platform works on a nationwide basis. We worked closely with the team at JLGB to bring together all their existing programmes including Duke of Edinburgh award, vInspired, National Citizenship Service and Yoni Jesner awards. The hours volunteered by individuals can be recorded on Evolve, making a space where all kinds of skills are recognised.
